As expected, the COVID-19 and the 2020 US Presidential election were topping the list for the most searched in Google this year.
Google released the data of the annual trending searches of the year for the United States and the world.
In the jewelry industry, “Pandora” and “Pandora Jewelry” were in the first five related search terms.
Signet-owned Kay Jewelers also got its name on the trending list with “kay fine jewelry” searches rising by 950%.
Nihao jewelry and Brilliance or “ Brilliance fine jewelry” were up by 400 and 300% respectively.
Among the fasted growing search terms include, “black-owned jewelry brands and Italian jewelry brands.
Rolex, Invicta, Seiko, and Citizen were listed in the top 20 searches for watches
Another related search term for watches that had the most popular is the “direct-to-consumer brand Nektom Watches. The search results were high by 3,400% compared to the previous year.
