The former first lady has found one of the most beautiful ways to encourage her fellow Americans to vote in the upcoming Presidential Elections in November.
Michelle is involving her favorite accessories, her stylist, Meredith Koop, and a popular jewelry brand (loved by celebrities), Shiffon Co.
Shiffon Co. has designed the limited edition “Vote” hoop earrings, whose proceeds will be dedicated to charity.
The former first lady is targeting to increase voter turnout in the upcoming elections by closing race and age voting gaps through this method.
This month, half of the profits made from the sale of each limited edition hoop earrings and any other pieces of jewelry from Shiffon Co. will be directed to charity. This includes the brand’s signature, Duet Pinky rings.
The non-profit is co-chaired by Michelle Obama, Tom Hanks, Lin Miranda, Faith Hill, Chris Paul, Janelle Monae, and Tim McGraw.
In August, the former first lady also opened the Democratic National Convention wearing a “Vote” necklace. The necklace is made of gold and was designed by BYCHARI, a black-owned Los Angeles jewelry designer.
