The Christie’s Hong Kong Magnificent Jewels that took place late last month saw a special emerald and diamond double Riviere necklace auction at $7 Million.
The necklace was designed and created by Edmond Chin.
The design features 117.6k of Colombian emeralds that were cut in an octagonal shape, ranging between 1.48 and 10.41 carats. Other emeralds were also cut in rectangular and oval shoes, with 0.7 to 4.22 carats.
Chin, is a designer born in Singapore and debuted Christie’s Hong Kong, working in the jewelry and jadeite department.
The second-highest jewelry to be auctioned at the event was a pair of flawless diamond earrings with 3.29 carats each. They were sold for $6.1 million.
The auction collected a total of 51.5 million in sales.
