The Watches of Switzerland Group is set to expand its retail market as it seeks to dominate parts of North America.
Last week, the group announced that it is planning to open eight brand boutiques, partnering with Breitling, Omega, and TAG Heuer. The new boutiques are set to be opened in Roosevelt Mall, New York (for TAG Heuer and Omega) Pennsylvania (for TAG Heuer and Breitling), Florida (for TAG Heuer and Omega). San Jose, California (Breitling), and Green Hills in Nashville (Breitling).
The Omega and Breitling stores set to be opened will be operational before the year ends, with Breitling planning to add more stores next year.
The TAG Heuer stores are set to be the first of their kind to have ever been opened in America. They will also open late this month and early December for the holiday season.
The spots for the stores were picked based on the adjacency of other luxury stores, demography, and the distribution of the brand.
The Watches of Switzerland has 135 stores in the UK and the US with its most recent estimated sales totaling $234 million
